Hiddenry began with a simple, slightly irritating observation: most of the objects and rules we live inside were designed by somebody, for a reason, and almost nobody knows the reason.

What counts as an entry

An entry has to clear three bars. There has to be a specific hidden mechanism, not a vague feeling. It has to be verifiable — a standard, a study, a documented history. And knowing it has to change how you look at something you have already seen a thousand times.

How entries are declassified

Files are researched, sourced, filmed as a single short reel, and then declassified on a fixed schedule. Once declassified, an entry stays in the catalogue permanently with its sources attached.

Clearance

Collecting cards is not a loyalty scheme. It is a reading record. Your rank is simply the number of files you have actually worked through, and the leaderboard is a side effect rather than the point.

Corrections

If an entry is wrong, it gets amended in place with a note explaining what changed. An archive that quietly edits itself is not an archive.
